A Hundred Years From Now
…it will not matter what
my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove,
but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a CHILD

A Hundred Years From Now

Hello Everyone and welcome to my Blog!!!

The title for my blog was inspired by a poem I read years ago.  As we know the career as a teacher is greatly underpaid, however the reward of being important in the life of a child is priceless.  I hope you enjoy reading my blog in the following weeks.  I can't wait to read yours!

  2. I love the poem you are referring to. I love the poster that says, "All I Ever Needed To Learn, I Learned In Kindergarten" and it lists all the wonderful new skills that we teach and foster in kindergarten!

  3. Hi Susan,
I love that poem too. As educators, our job is so important, unfortunately the earthly rewards as not as great as the emotional rewards. We make an selfless decision to teach, knowing that the greatest benefits that we will receive are smiles from the students and gratitude from grateful parents.

I look forward to sharing and learning with you through this class.
